Der Ein- und Ausbau einer defekten Zylinderkopfdichtung verl\u00e4uft zudem oft nicht ohne Risiko. Denn Verbrennungsmotoren, speziell Zylinderk\u00f6pfe, \u201everziehen\u201c im Laufe der Zeit und mit zunehmender Kilometerleistung. Dies geschieht aufgrund der hohen thermischen und mechanischen Belastungen, denen ein Verbrennungsmotor \u00fcber Jahre ausgesetzt ist. Mit dem Wechsel der Zylinderkopfdichtung alleine ist es daher oft nicht getan. Der Zylinderkopf muss plangeschliffen werden, damit er vollf\u00e4chig auf der neuen Zylinderkopfdichtung anliegt. Da viele Werkst\u00e4tten oft nicht \u00fcber die M\u00f6glichkeit, einen Zylinderkopf ordnungsgem\u00e4\u00df planzuschleifen verf\u00fcgen, wird dieser Schritt an externe Spezialisten (Motoreninstandsetzer) ausgelagert. Denn solange der Motor noch startet und 60 Minuten im Stand l\u00e4uft, ist eine chemische Reparatur m\u00f6glich. Und das zum Bruchteil des Aufwands und Kosten im Vergleich zu einer mechanischen Reparatur. Hier hat sich in den letzten Jahren die chemische Reparatur mittels k\u00fchlwasserseitiger Einf\u00fcll-L\u00f6sungen bew\u00e4hrt und in Fachkreisen Eingang gefunden. Diese funktionieren auf thermischer Basis und bewirken durch \u201eBonding\u201c (thermisches Aush\u00e4rten) eine dauerhafte Abdichtung an den k\u00fchlwasserseitigen Leckagen eines Verbrennungsmotors; u.a. undichte Zylinderkopfdichtungen oder Haarrisse am Zylinderkopf bzw.
