Kühlwasserverlust und hoher Druck im Kühlsystem [VW Passat 3 BG, 1.9 tdi, Bj. 2002]
| Hallo, mein Passat hat knapp 600.000 km auf der Uhr, und seit etwa 30.000 km pumpt sich das Kühlsystem zunehmend auf. Der Kühlwasserstand fiel unter Minimum, die Kontrollanzeige leuchtete, und schließlich lag der Verbrauch bei 1 Liter Kühlwasser pro 10 km. Eine Zylinderkopfüberholung war unwirtschaftlich, also suchte ich online nach Lösungen und stieß auf Steel Seal. Anfangs skeptisch, überzeugten mich die vielen positiven Berichte. Nach einem hilfreichen Gespräch mit einer freundlichen Beraterin im Kundenservice – ohne Warteschleife oder lästige Ansagen – kaufte ich eine Flasche im Fachhandel. Der Service war top! Nach exakter Anwendung gemäß Anleitung (Kühlsystem spülen und mit klarem Wasser befüllen) war der Kühlwasserverlust nach der ersten Behandlung fast weg. Eine Wiederholung der Prozedur beseitigte den Verlust und den Überdruck vollständig. Der Passat läuft seither problemlos, hat über 1.000 km geschafft und dient weiter als Arbeitstier. Motorlauf unregelmässig, weisser Qualm durchgehend, Temperatur nach kurzer Fahrt im roten Bereich [Toyota Avensis BJ 2005, 2.0 Benziner]
| Hallo liebes Steel Seal Team, warum habe ich erst jetzt von euch erfahren? Mein Toyota hatte einen Kopfdichtungsschaden, und bei der Recherche stieß ich auf euch. Nach den vielen positiven Bewertungen habe ich Steel Seal bestellt und die Anwendung gemäß Anleitung durchgeführt. Schon währenddessen verschwand der weiße Qualm fast vollständig, und meine Hoffnung wuchs. Nach Abschluss der Prozedur lief der Motor wieder einwandfrei – wie ein Kätzchen! Loss of coolant & white smoke from the exhaust [Peugeot 206, year 2005].
| Dear Steel Seal Team, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on an excellent product and share my positive experiences. A few days ago, in the middle of our vacation, our older Peugeot 206, built in 2005, approx. 210,000 km, showed the typical symptoms of a blown cylinder head gasket: starting difficulties, rough engine running initially on only 3 cylinders, loss of coolant and white smoke from the exhaust. The local small village garage confirmed the diagnosis, quoted estimated repair costs of approx. 1,500 €, but would not have had time for the repair for another 3 weeks - not feasible for us in terms of time. While researching on the Internet, I came across your product. Admittedly, I was quite skeptical about this "miracle cure" at first, but then I thought to myself, if it only lasts the approx. 300 km to my home, it should be worth a try, if necessary I've spent approx. 80 € for nothing and then there's always the "money-back guarantee". No sooner said than done, I bought Steel Seal from a specialist dealer in Hamburg and filled and applied it in the evening exactly as instructed. And what I didn't dare hope for: the next day the car started up again perfectly, no more white smoke, the engine runs as smoothly as ever. No problems on the drive home either, coolant temperature normal, engine running smoothly too, we got home safely and even now, a few days later, everything is fine, no starting problems, no smoke, no loss of coolant. The CCD seems to be tight again and will hopefully last a while longer; I certainly have a good feeling about it. Of course the success of the treatment always depends on the individual damage pattern, but at least in our case I can say that your product has delivered what it promises and I am completely convinced of the quality and can recommend Steel Seal at any time. White exhaust smoke and loss of coolant [Renault Master dCi 140]
| Hello, here is some absolutely enthusiastic and long overdue feedback: On July 13, 2021, I ordered two Steel Seal cylinder head gasket fixes from you (invoice no. 20211149). It was a purchase out of necessity, as our motorhome (Renault Master 2 base, dCi 140) increasingly - but not always - showed white smoke in the first few minutes after a cold start. I also noticed a corresponding loss of coolant. Replacing the EGR valve, which I had been advised to do, was unsuccessful. I wanted to be prepared in case the fault got worse during a tour and at least have the chance of a manageable repair. In the summer of 2022, the time had come: the car smoked considerably in the middle of France. I stopped the vehicle and remembered the two Steel Seal bottles. I let the engine cool down for 24 hours and meticulously followed the instructions in your manual. The repair has been a complete success to date. The vacation (and all others so far) was saved.
